September Dates

Lessons with Paul will resume as normal from:

Wednesday 16th September 2009 for Wednesday lessons, and

Saturday 19th September 2009 for Saturday lessons.

The idea is to get frequent updates published to this site both for clarifying any announcements made at the club, and for those who have missed lessons (and therefore missed any announcements!)

I’m going to be working with Paul on what will be the best way to go about doing this.  So watch this space!

I don’t know how many people this will apply to, but in order to be accessible to more people, this site is now optimised for browsing on the iPhone and iPod touch.

The website, version 2

Updated 26th July 2009

Hello I’m Adam, the website administrator for Blackburn Shukokai Karate Club, and I’ve been working on an upgrade to the site for sometime!  I know that the existing site has been out of date for a good couple of years by now which has made it a bit useless.  (And I sincerely apologise).

The idea with this update is to make the site more ‘fresh’ with recent news and events alongside the usual information that isn’t really going to change that often, such as: ‘classes’, ‘instructors’, and ‘about shukokai’.  The great benefit of this update is that there are a lot more features available to us as a club, such as being able to comment on posts, but also to be able to provide feedback on  bits you like about the site, and bits you might suggest want changing.

So, I’m going to ’stick’ this post to the top of the homepage for now so that everyone can see what’s going on, and I’ll update this post once all the main content has gone live.

Update: I’ve added all of the main content, particularly the downloadable katas which are available once again to print out.  If I’ve missed anything, you’re more than welcome to either leave a comment at the bottom of this post, or to send me an email via the ‘contact’ page above.

Thank you for your time and patience,

Adam
